Talent development
Are you really keen on badminton and want to get to the very top?
We promote badminton talents. We support you!
But we also promote everything you need to become a real badminton player: Motivation, discipline, concentration. And passion – even if you already have plenty of it!
In our small performance groups, you will receive individual support and be taken seriously. You will develop both as a player and as a person. In an atmosphere where fun is not neglected. The team spirit in the groups is also very important to us. Because you can only improve with reliable training partners.
We currently offer two different performance training courses:
This is where our youngest sports talents train up to the U13 age group. Previous badminton experience is not necessary at the beginning. But the will to get better, to compete with others and most importantly: talent for movement and concentration during training!
With age-appropriate exercises, you will learn all the basics that a successful badminton player needs – technique, tactics and also lots of general sporting movements such as running, jumping and throwing. Winning is not yet the focus, but “improving” is even more so.
This is where our older and more experienced badminton talents play and train from the U15 age group up to a maximum of U19. We build on the basics from the Talentnest and support you in improving your technical and tactical skills. This is where the exercises can become much more challenging. The clear aim of the Junior Team is to have fun playing badminton and to get the best possible success out of every player.
How do I get into one of the two performance groups?
Our coaches continuously observe all children and teenagers in training and at competitions. They invite those who stand out as particularly sporty and committed to a trial training session in the Talentnest or Junior Team. This doesn’t always have to be those who are already the best players!
If you want to train in one of the two performance groups, just put your best effort into regular training – be reliable, focused and interested. Do every exercise properly. Take part in tournaments regularly and offer yourself as a player for one of our teams. If all of this fits over a longer period of time, you will definitely be invited to a trial training session. And if not: just ask the coaches!
From time to time, we also offer scouting days for the Talentnest, which you can take part in. These can take place during our regular training sessions, during school lessons at our partner schools or even at the weekend. Just look out for the relevant announcements.
You're not a sporting talent, but you are a talented organizer?
Then we’d love to support you too. We are always on the lookout for young people who can not only help the club move forward in terms of sport, but also in terms of organization.
Whether you want to organize a party for our youth, are an expert in video editing or have any other exciting idea for an extraordinary project in the club: Get in touch with us.
Do you want to pass on your badminton knowledge to others?
That’s cool! Then get in touch with us. We are always looking for committed young people who can support our coaches in the hall. And if you really enjoy coaching, we will be happy to finance your training as an assistant coach or coach.
